Garden Railroad: Movie Magic will allow guests to explore a bustling movie lot home to genres like fantasy, western, science fiction, horror and action with whimsical and interactive aspects! With an abundance of fascinating features surrounded by a beautiful plant palette, our Garden Railroad is sure to bring Hollywood magic to the glasshouse.
- Enter Studio Phipps to find a large Hollywood sign, palm trees and lights shining bright
- See pirates protecting magical treasure as a fantasy film comes to life
- Watch a dramatic explosion occur as a bank robbery takes place in a western town
- Look upon a helicopter flying around to film a horror scene starring mushroom zombies
- Listen for the director yelling “Action” on set as an adventure is preparing for takeoff in his airplane
- Check out a science fiction scene where the ferocious Phippzilla protects a city from a lanternfly infestation
- Step on the Hollywood walk of fame star to make your film debut on the drive-in movie theater screen
Garden Railroad: Movie Magic, designed by Exhibit Associate Mary Lou Linton-Morningstar, opens Sat., Oct. 5 and runs through Sun., March 9. Animatronics for Garden Railroad are created by Senior Building Maintenance Technician and Carpenter Paul Widek.
