$100 funds Youth Climate Action Committee supplies, including food, materials and speaker honoraria for our meetings to keep our youth energized
$150 funds a neurodivergent support backpack including noise-reducing headphones, fidget devices, rubber magnifying glasses, sunglasses, verbal cue cards and more to enhance the visit comfortably for those in need. $7,500 would support supplies for a full year
$200 funds a young person’s stipend for their climate action work through Phipps
$250 provides adult education access to a low-income program participant
$300 funds a youth community project on climate and the environment, allowing these dedicated young workers to improve the spaces where they live
$450 supports a small or new business owner to attend Phipps’ Sustainable Landcare Training and learn how to provide healthy, safe landscaping and care to the public
$500 funds a youth climate action event at Phipps hosted by our youth workers, allowing them to present their work to the public
$500 funds a therapeutic horticulture program to engage a diverse cross-section of the community, especially those with disabilities, in collective healing and wellbeing
$600 funds an electric scooter to ease the mobility issues of a guest in need. $3,000 would fund enough scooters to meet annual demand
$800 funds youth travel, allowing a young person to attend local and national climate summits and conferences, enhancing their exposure to professional and educational opportunities
$1,000 funds a lecture series to bring bright and engaging speakers to the public at Phipps
$1,500 funds botanical craft toolkits for 15 adult education students, enhancing our ability to run “maker” classes for these continuing learners
$2,500 funds a free public event, including youth-driven events such as the Youth Eco-Action Showcase
$5,000 funds a staff training in accessibility, cultural competence, community engagement or inclusive management to improve our workplace. $20,000 would provide a full year of programs
$10,000 funds a DEIA summer scholar to work and learn alongside the director of diversity, education, inclusivity and accessibility
