The Sustainable SITES initiative is a sustainable rating system used by landscape architects, engineers, developers and other similar professions to align land development and management with innovative sustainable practices that are based on resiliency and regenerative design.

This web resource shares information about facilities across the Phipps campus that have already been certified in SITES as well as those that show opportunity toward certification or fulfilling a SITES goal or principle.

How to Use This Resource: SKIM, SWIM and DIVE

These benefits are explained on the following pages in increasing levels of detail.

The SKIM sections provide a brief overview of SITES related to the Phipps facility and share the general intent about each prerequisite and credit found in the ten SITES Sections of the SITES v2 Rating Guide.

The SWIM sections give an introduction to regenerative systems and look at strategies for achieving prerequisites, credits and general SITES principles.

The DIVE sections provide greater detail about certification requirements and which prerequisites and credits are Achieved, Achievable or Not Achievable toward certification of a particular facility.
