The comforts of home were brought to life in signature Phipps fashion at Winter Flower Show: Home for the Holidays. Beautiful, enchanting blooms greeted guests as they wandered through room after room of seasonal splendor. Show highlights included Phipps’ magical carousel floating on the Victoria Room pond, a cozy cabin sitting snugly amidst a forest of snow colored plants in the East Room, a topiary animal display that explored winter hibernation habits in the Gallery Room and a living room scene in the Sunken Garden featuring furniture — such as armchairs, a grandfather clock, chandeliers and tree skirts — brought to life with plant materials. Thought the outdoor Winter Light Garden was closed this year, the fan favorite orbs and cones were brought into the Serpentine Room and surrounded by colorful plants in hues of pink, orange, lime green and yellow.
