Create Your Own Under the Sea Creature!

Phipps fans ages 12 and under are invited to create their own sea creature for a chance to appear in our Summer Flower Show!

Summer Flower Show: Under the Sea is transporting thousands of visitors of all ages to a magical underworld of beautiful sea creatures! 

To continue the fun of this amazing show, we're asking Phipps fans ages 12 and under to create their own sea creature! Randomly selected artworks will be displayed during the Under the Sea show at Phipps in special treasure chests; artworks will be switched out each month, and parents will receive an email notifying them if their child's artwork is selected. Plus, all completed entries will be displayed in an online gallery!

Here's how children can enter with the help of a parent or caregiver:

1. Children should create a work of art on an 8.5" x 11" (or similar) portrait-format sheet of paper. Each work should contain at least one sea creature! Sea creatures looks can be pulled from real life inspiration or from your own imagination — be creative! Use markers, crayons, paints and more to bring your troll to colorful life. Whatever you choose, Fen and Ivy will love them all!
2. Parents and caregivers should use a scanner or smartphone to create a digital copy of the final artwork.
3. Parents and caregivers should complete the form below to submit children's work.

We love getting to know our new sea creatures! Artists are welcome to give a 2 – 3 line description along with the drawing of their sea creature. Phipps would love to know your creature's name, favorite color, favorite snack, or any other facts you'd like to share!

Please note there's no submission deadline at this time; we will continue to add new sea creatures all summer long!
