Explore our in-person, seasonal camps for children and let us immerse your young explorers in the incredible world of Phipps. The Bees Made Our Lunch!

July 21 – 24 | 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 
Ages 6 – 10
$225 Members |  $250 Nonmembers

Here at Phipps, we love bees – especially the plants that bees pollinated! Join us as we create amazing bee-inspired recipes. In this class, young chefs will have the opportunity use a variety of fruits, vegetables, and nut butters to create delicious snacks, fruit salads and baked goods.  (This class will contain nuts, gluten, and berries.)

Possible ingredients: Apple, Avocado, Blackberry, Blueberry, Brazil nut, Cabbage, Cantaloupe, Cashew, Almond, Celery, Peppers, Coconut, Peach, Pear, Plum, Tomato, Watermelon

Chop, Sizzle and Roll

July 28 – 31 | 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 
Ages 10 – 14

Young chefs will have the opportunity to improve their knife and sauté skills while creating delicious lunch options that sizzle and roll. Teens and preteens will have the opportunity to learn how to use fresh foods in a creative garden-to-table approach as they harvest from Phipps Edible Garden and cook in Botany Hall Kitchen!

Conservatory Chefs

August 4 – 7 | 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 
Ages 7 – 12

Join our chef in making creative snacks inspired by Phipps' jungle-themed Summer Flower Show. This fun camp combines the love of food with the beauty and wonder of the Conservatory. Each day will start with a garden tour where we’ll spy botanical creations of toucans, orangutan and even tiny chameleons hiding throughout the show! The tour will end at Botany Hall Kitchen where we’ll make a snack inspired by what we’ve discovered.
