- NOW OPEN: Spring Flower Show: A Closer Look
Opening Sat., March 16, and only lasting four weeks, these stunning displays are a must-see to jump-start your season of renewal. With magnifying glasses stationed throughout, you'll be able to admire the details of beautiful blooms in a rainbow of shades. - NOW OPEN: Ikebana International Exhibit

Tropical Forest Hawai‘i: Aloha ‘Aina invites guests to take an exciting, immersive journey through the rich history, nature and culture of the Hawaiian archipelago. - Planets Earth Virtual Exhibit
A dynamic exhibit at the Center for Sustainable Landscapes (and now online) addresses the pressing environmental issues of our time and proposes a new way of thinking about how to solve them.
Mon., March 25:
- Watercolor I : Technique and Color Theory | 6 – 9 p.m.
Students will learn the basics of transparent watercolor as a medium, and gain a foundational understanding of the brushes, paper, and paints suitable for botanical watercolor.
Tues., March 26:
- Medicine Making: Making a Fresh Tincture | 6 – 8 p.m.
Our first-ever in-person Medicine Making series will give you the ultimate jumping-off-point to start your herbal remedy journey. What is a tincture and how do we use it? In this class, Michelle Soto will lead us through what makes Tinctures different than other Medicines and the best plants for them.
Wed., March 27:
- In-Person Story Time | 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Kids will love visiting Phipps to listen to our storyteller weave tales about gardens, fruits, vegetables, animals and other fun topics. Attend weekly sessions with a special child in your life
Thurs., March. 28:
- Backyard Gardening: Indoor Seed Starting | 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Starting your transplants indoors gives you a head start when warm weather hits and allows you greater control over the variety and quality of your plants. Learn the steps and equipment to start and care for annual vegetable seedlings successfully.
Sat., March. 30:
- Shinrin Yoku Guided Forest Therapy Walk: Shortened | 1 – 2:30 p.m.
Come join Forest Awakenings for a relaxing nature retreat shaped by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku. Join our popular forest therapy walk, where we’ll slow down and connect with the More Than Human World in a deeper, more intimate way.
