- Backyard Gardening Series: Spring Vegetable Gardening | 7 – 8:30 p.m.
In this virtual gardening series, learn all the basics for starting your backyard garden, from planting seeds to harvesting fruit and everything in between. In this session explore the best crops for earlier planting and discuss cold-weather crop protection strategies.
Wed., April 5:
- In-Person Story Time | 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Kids will love visiting Phipps to listen to our storyteller weave tales about gardens, fruits, vegetables, animals and other fun topics. Attend weekly sessions with a special child in your life!.
Thurs., April 6:
- Let's Move Pittsburgh: Cooking for Life Series | Cooking for Families with Youth in Sports | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
When raising young athletes, the whole family needs the energy to keep up with busy schedules. In this workshop you’ll learn about the nutritious foods kids need to play at their best. Our team will provide plant-based recipes to fuel the whole family.
