This spectacular new show will feature brilliant horticultural displays and breathtaking fashion designs inspired by Billy Porter's local roots and iconic array of accomplishments as an award-winning actor, singer, director, composer and playwright. - Ikebana International Exhibit

A dynamic exhibit at the Center for Sustainable Landscapes (and now online) addresses the pressing environmental issues of our time and proposes a new way of thinking about how to solve them.

- Backyard Gardening Series: Organic Vegetable Gardening Basics
Learn the essentials of planning and caring for a vegetable garden using organic methods: how to arrange your crops within your space using the square foot gardening method, when and how to plant seeds and seedlings, how to water and more!
Wed., April 19:
- In-Person Story Time | 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Kids will love visiting Phipps to listen to our storyteller weave tales about gardens, fruits, vegetables, animals and other fun topics. Attend weekly sessions with a special child in your life!
Fri., April 21:
- Rooted in Community Forum: Backyard Forum | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This one-day forum covers successful growing techniques and creative practices to include in your edible garden and community gardens.
Sat., April 22:
- Used Bulb Sale | 3 – 6 p.m.
Attend one or more of our annual Used Bulb Sales for a chance to pick up used Phipps bulbs — including hyacinths, daffodils and lilies — for your own garden!
