Featured Farmer: Clarion River Organics

Wednesday from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Farmers at Phipps, make a stop at the Clarion River Organics booth for fresh summer food staples, including juicy strawberries and crisp asparagus! Clarion River Organics is a co-op of 15 family farms operating within the Clarion River watershed. All certified organic growers, the farmers at Clarion River Organics also conserve fuel and electricity by using horse-powered farming and old fashioned ice houses for storage. In addition to their regular appearances with Phipps’ farmers’ market, Clarion River Organics offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and subscribers to their weekly fruits and veggies can even arrange to pick up their CSA share while shopping at Farmers at Phipps.
