Featured Farmer: Blackberry Meadows Farm

Blackberry Meadows is a farm ahead of its time: in the 1980s, they became one of the first farms in oue region to offer CSA shares, and they have been Certified Organic since 1992. Today Greg Boulos and Jen Montgomery run Blackberry Meadows as an “open-door” farm, inviting their CSA members to join the farmers in the fields and learn from their farming practices. On their 85 acres in Natrona Heights, Blackberry Meadows raises pigs, cattle and chickens while producing organic fruits and vegetables. Wednesdays from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. during Farmers at Phipps, stop by Blackberry Meadows Farm for fresh veggies, blueberries and pastured, non-GMO pork.
