Announcing the 2019 Champion Schools Awards

Congratulations to all of our 2019 Champion Schools Awards winners! The following schools are awarded funding to “Bag the Junk” with projects that promote healthy food and nutrition education in schools, “Get Kids Moving” with projects that aim to increase physical activity in schools, “Teach Kids to Grow and Cook Food” with projects that focus on growing and preparing healthy food, and to support "Sustainable Citizenship" with projects that aim to positively impact the community! Thanks to generous funding from The Heinz Endowments, over 8,500 children will benefit from programs in the following schools:
