Display Room and Exhibit Feature Closures
- Café Phipps is temporarily closed while we explore new ways to offer you the highest quality service. Stay tuned to the website for updates! Select snacks and drinks are available in the Shop at this time.
- From April 10 – 16, our Tropical Forest waterfall and fish tank will be undergoing maintenance; during this time our tropical fish collection will not be available for view and waterfalls will be turned off. The exhibit will be fully accessible during this maintenance period.
- Some areas of the public garden occasionally close during normal business hours for private events and other activities. Here's a snapshot of what's happening over the next several weeks, to help you plan your visit with us.
- Outdoor Garden: Open annually beginning in mid-May and lasting through mid-October.
Traffic Alerts and Road Closures
- Please note that the nearby Panther Hollow Bridge and Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge are presently closed to vehicular traffic, but it's still easy to visit by following posted detour signs. For Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge information, please visit the City of Pittsburgh website. A Panther Hollow Bridge detour can be achieved by utilizing Hobart Street, Beacon Street, Wightman Street and Schenley Drive; click here for an image.
