Membership and Timed Tickets
Reserving Tickets? Log in to your Phipps member account using the email address associated with your membership. Choose the day and time for your visit from the event calendar and select your tickets. Tickets included with your membership will become free once added to your cart. A digital membership card is not required to reserve tickets or visit.

Please note that all new memberships are automatically active on the date of purchase and will expire at the end of the month one year from purchase. Renewing a membership will add 12 months to the current expiration date regardless of purchase date.
Using Your Benefits
You are welcome to use your membership as often as you’d like throughout the year. Reserving tickets in advance? Log in to your Phipps member account using the email address associated with your membership to reserve tickets from our event calendar. Don’t have your tickets? Named adults on your membership can present a valid photo ID at the Welcome Center to enjoy free admission. Your digital membership card is not required.
Digital Membership Cards
Membership cards at Phipps are digital! Read our Digital Membership Cards FAQ for more information. Your digital membership card is not required to visit Phipps, reserve timed tickets, or enjoy any of your membership benefits.
Renewing Online
Use the form below to join as a new member or renew an existing membership. If you are a renewing member, your renewal will be applied to your existing membership.
Flexibility
Phipps memberships are flexible. If you are a member at the Dual level or higher and your co-owner is unable to visit, you may bring a guest in their place. For Family Memberships and higher, we accept up to four children, so if you only have two children in your household, each may bring a friend with them. The co-owners of a membership are not required to reside at the same address. However, only one address per membership will receive our mailings.
Additional Children
Additional children beyond the four included may be added to membership at the Family/Household level and above for $5 per child. Please call the membership team at 412-315-0656 or stop by the Welcome Center to add children to your membership.
Using Guest Passes
Members at the Supporting, Sustaining, Benefactor and Henry Phipps Associate levels receive one-time guest passes to share with friends and family. Guest passes will be mailed within two weeks of your membership purchase. If you’d like to use your guest passes before they arrive in the mail, please contact us at members@phipps.conservatory.org. Guest passes can be waived to recieve full tax deductibilty.
Tax Deductibility
Phipps memberships are 100% tax-deductible with exceptions at the Supporting, Sustaining, Benefactor and Henry Phipps Associate levels. Members at these levels will receive a formal acknowledgement letter in the mail with tax deductible information.

Why does Phipps use digital membership cards?
It is part of Phipps’ mission to advance sustainability, and by using a digital membership card we save thousands of pounds of paper a year, plus the emissions created by mailing printed cards to you. Thank you for helping us save valuable resources and help the environment!
How do I add the digital membership card to my phone?
For iPhone users: access the email from your smartphone and click the “Download” button, then click “Add to Wallet” and “Add.” The card will automatically be saved in your iPhone’s Apple Wallet and can be accessed at any time.
For Android users: download Wallet Passes from Google Play. Once you have the app, access the email from your smartphone and click the “Download” button. The card will automatically be saved in your Wallet Passes app and can be accessed at any time.
If you do not see the email, please check your spam and promotions folders.
Can I print my digital membership card?
Yes! Access the email from your device and click the “Or print a physical copy” link, and the print dialog box will open.
There is another named member on my membership. How can I share the card with them?
Forward the email containing your digital membership card to the other individual(s) named on your membership, and they will have access to download or print the card as well. Please note that all members must have a photo ID upon entry.
How does membership renewal work?
Renew your membership online, by check, in person or over the phone and the expiration date on your card will automatically update when your next year of membership begins.
I prefer not to/am unable to use a digital membership card, what can I do?
Members who do not wish to use a digital membership card or who do not have a smartphone are welcome to present a photo ID at the admissions desk upon entry.

Order the gift of Phipps! We'll send you a card that you can fill out and hand-deliver or mail to the recipient of your choice, allowing them to activate their new membership whenever they're ready.
Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Access Discount: Museums for All Admission and Membership
Visit our gardens with our Museums for All admission program! Phipps offers general admission for up to four people for $3 each with presentation of an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card from any state. Eligible parties may simply arrive at a visitation time of their choosing — no need to book in advance! The purchasing guest must also present a photo ID showing the same address as the cardholder. Guests may also join us as a Museums for All member to gain unlimited access to the serenity of our gardens, the splendor of our renowned plant collections and a wealth of opportunities for discovery and growth.
