Beyond making a delicious gift on a lovey-dovey day, chocolate – or rather, the cacao tree – has some fascinating plant biology to explore! Come check out the chocolatey chemical compounds that truly tell our brains to be happy and explore the fruits, seeds and history behind this Valentine staple!
Follow along each month as Dr. Maria Wheeler-Dubas will be stationed in the Conservatory on select Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to highlight the biology and science behind each of our distinctive seasons. View our upcoming Science Table Talk topics below!
