Only lasting four weeks, these delightful displays are a must-see to jump-start your season of renewal! - From the Same Bulb: 2005 – 2022, an Exhibit by Sue Abramson
From the Same Bulb focuses on Sue Abramson's photographic work with the elephant ear (Colocasia esculenta) over the span of 17 years. - Planets Earth Virtual Exhibit
A dynamic exhibit at the Center for Sustainable Landscapes (and now online) addresses the pressing environmental issues of our time and proposes a new way of thinking about how to solve them.
Mon., March 28:
- Tour of Italy: A Night in Trentino-Alto Adige | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Join Chef Justin Melnick for a culinary tour of Italy! Chef Justin, trained in Italy, will take us on a journey from region to region throughout Italy. You’ll learn took cook the Italian way right from your very own home and learn what makes each region unique.
Tues., March 29:
- Baking with Herbs: Infused Oils | 7 – 8 p.m.
Herbal ingredients offer layers of taste and benefit to both sweet and savory baked goods. Learn to easily create herbal infusions that add unique flavor, interest and intrigue. Join Dina Ranade, Herbalist and Registered Dietitian, for fun, imaginative baking.
Wed., March 30:
- Backyard Gardening Series: Indoor Seed Starting | 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Starting your transplants indoors gives you a head start when warm weather hits and allows you greater control over the variety and quality of your plants. Learn the steps and equipment to successfully start and care for vegetable annual seedlings.
Thurs., March 31:
- Pierogis | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
We race them at baseball games and have festivals in their honor. Celebrate Pittsburgh, by joining Chef Emily to learn how to make the famous Pittsburgh Pierogi from scratch!
