Congratulations to all of our 2016 Champion Schools Awards winners! The following schools are awarded funding to “Bag the Junk” with projects that promote healthy food and nutrition education in schools, “Get Kids Moving” with projects that aim to increase physical activity in schools, and “Teach Kids to Grow and Cook Food” with projects that focus on growing and preparing healthy food. Thanks to generous funding from The Heinz Endowments, more than 7,500 children will benefit from programs in the following schools:
