Give To Phipps

Right Conditions for Growth

Pittsburgh has become a model of how public-private partnerships can sustain regional parks, libraries and core attractions—including Phipps Conservatory.

But the private side of the equation relies on continued, generous support from individuals, corporations and foundations. Admissions and memberships provide only 17 percent of the funds necessary to operate Phipps every day. And expenses are on the rise.

Be a Good Steward

When it became clear more than a decade ago that the City of Pittsburgh could not maintain Phipps Conservatory and ensure its future, private management and funders rose to the occasion. The success of Phipps, and its growth and expansion, has attracted global attention.

Ways to Give:

All donations, large and small, ensure that Phipps Conservatory will inspire, educate and delight for generations to come. Click below to learn more about the many ways to give. For more information, please contact our Donor Office at 412-441-4442 x3701.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts (bequests, trusts, and other options) allow a donor to identify charitable interests within their overall estate and financial plans.

Capital Campaign

Help Phipps achieve its third phase of expansion, including the design and construction of the Center for Sustainable Landscapes, one of the world's most advanced "living" structures.

Endowment

Because endowment gifts generate earnings each year, they play a critical role in the long-term financial stability and planning activities at Phipps.

Annual Appeal

From Friend ($50) to Founder's Level ($10,000), your annual appeal gift closes the gap between our daily operating costs and our admissions fee (only 17% of what we need to operate).
