Flowers are integral to the mourning process. In this course, students will learn how to design baskets, overhead and foot sprays, easel displays, and interior casket pieces, and receive instruction on appropriate protocols for funeral home environments. Make Your Own Terrarium

Students in this class will learn how to create a living garden under glass while discussing different styles of terrariums and containers (open versus closed and wet versus dry), plant selection, visual design and proper care. Attendees are asked to bring a container — from a glass bowl to an apothecary jar — for making their own terrariums. All other materials, including soil, moss, rocks and plants, will be provided.
